Welcome to the rainy season: A newborn impala lamb stands close to its mother. In South Africa, many impala lambs are born at the start of the rainy season, when fresh forage sprouts. Anyone who wants to see young animals should plan their trip around this, as the births are often concentrated within a few weeks.
